Howard has become quite an attraction here at the Little Switzerland Cottage. He's a breed of duck called Rouen, related to the Mallard, but doesn't fly. Well, not much. As the story goes, Howard has been here for years. PD and Deborah have tried to give him company from time to time in the form of other ducks, but he doesn't like them, and chases them away.

He prefers the company of people and his friends the beautiful Koi fish, and is shown here sharing lunch with them. When you stay here at the Cottage, ask Deborah for some food. (And please, don't feed him bread or other food) Grab your camera and be prepared for a show as Howard and the Koi gobble it all up and pose for pictures!
